Senior Property Accountant

We are working with the CFO of a Real Estate Investment Firm based in Middlesex County, NJ. They are looking to add a dynamic Senior Property Accountant to their organization and focus on Residential property management. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential properties.
• Prepare property-level financial statements and reports.
• Lead the transition of residential property accounting from third-party accounting and property management firms
• Lead Yardi implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization efforts.
• Perform financial transition tasks in connection with property acquisitions; book property acquisitions, based upon review of closing documents
• Preparation of annual operating expense and real estate tax reimbursement reconciliations
• Preparation of cash reforecasts and cash flow projections, as necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 4+ years of Residential Real Estate Property Accounting
• Exposure to Yardi
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

COMPENSATION:

$120,000 - $140,000 + Bonus
