Senior Tax Accountant

Robert Half is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant for a consulting opportunity with a mid-sized public accounting client based out of Woodbridge, NJ. This role would be fully onsite, 5 days a week. Responsibilities will include preparing tax returns such as high net worth individuals, partnership, corporations, trusts, and estates as well as tax planning, tax research and compliance. Job Qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience with a public accounting firm
- Must have prior experience doing tax preparation work in public accounting
- Bachelors Accounting.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- Very strong computer skills required with an emphasis on tax software, QuickBooks and Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
