Shipping Coordinator

New Image Dental Laboratory, a leader in dental restorations and prosthetics, is excited to announce a full-time opening for a Shipping Coordinator at our facility. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that every order is handled with care and precision. As a Shipping Coordinator you will be charged with organizing, preparing, and ensuring the secure delivery of our dental products to clients nationwide. Please note, this position is based on-site at our laboratory and is not eligible for remote work. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare dental products and related paperwork for shipping, ensuring that all items are securely packaged and labeled correctly Conduct final checks on all outgoing shipments to confirm that orders are complete and meet quality standards Maintain an orderly and safe work environment within the shipping area Utilize shipping software to schedule pick-ups and track shipments Coordinate with front office and production staff to prioritize daily shipments Regularly update inventory and shipment logs to reflect outgoing and received items Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies or issues to the management immediately Follow organizational policies relating to confidentiality and data protection regulationsHandle and resolve shipping-related queries from customers and other departments professionally Participate in periodic training and workshops to stay updated with shipping practices and warehouse management technologies Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Hours are from 10:00AM to 7:00PM Monday-Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch At least 1 year of experience in a shipping or logistics role Proficiency in shipping software and good computer skills Strong organizational and time management skills Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order preparations and documentation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment Understanding of basic math skills for inventory and order management Capability to adapt to changing environments and operational needs Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in stressful situations Commitment to adhering to health and safety guidelines and company policies #J-18808-Ljbffr
