Marketing Account Manager

We’re adding an Account Manager to our client's advertising and marketing team in Kansas City. This is an EXCLUSIVE SEARCH! Overview This is not a volume environment, and it’s not a place where Account Management sits between client and creative just moving work along. The expectation here is ownership of relationships, of the work, and of how things come together. Our clients are national brands with real expectations. They rely on us for thinking, not just execution. That only works if the person leading the relationship is engaged, present, and willing to step into the details when it matters. You’ll lead day-to-day client relationships while staying close to the work itself. You’ll partner with creative, media, and strategy to shape direction, not just relay feedback. You’ll keep things moving, but more importantly, you’ll make sure they are moving in the right direction. We don’t operate in silos. When something needs attention, the team leans in, including our Account team. Qualifications 2 to 5 years of account management experience within an advertising or marketing agency environment. Experience managing clients and navigating shifting timelines and expectations. A collaborative, proactive communication style; comfortable speaking up when needed. Reliability and the ability to take ownership of relationships and deliverables.
