Industrial Electrician

Job Description

Greater Phoenix Electric, is looking for Industrial, Journeyman Electricians. Come join our team we have a great work environment. With great benefits. Must be able to pass a background check.

RESPOSIBILITIES:

Must be able to install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.

Must be able to follow instructions and have a leadership mindset.

Must be flexible & willing to work overtime or work various shifts as required.

Must be proficient in running 3/4" to 4" PVC, EMT, Rigid and flexible conduit with 90' bends, offset, kicks and saddles.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blue prints and drawings.

Must be able to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit, using such tools as band saw, pipe threaders and conduit benders in a safe manner.

Must be able to install disconnects, panel boards, transformers up to 600 Volts.

Job includes heavy lifting, pushing or pulling of material.

Must be able to operate a scissor lifts, boom lifts and fork lifts. Certification is required to operate equipment.

Must have experience in running cable tray.

SAFETY:

Must be familiar with NEC Codes.

Must be familiar with lock out tag out procedures and able to use proper PPE.

Must comply will all company policies and procedures and safety requirements.

Must comply with all safety standards of customers.

TOOLS REQUIRED:

Basic electrical hand tools.

Meter and non contact tester.

Cordless Drill.

Composite toe boots.

Jeans( No shorts allowed)

Safety Glasses ( If prescription glasses required must have side shields)

Hard Hat always required on site.

Must be eligible to work in the US.

Must have dependable Transportation.

Must be able to get along with others and work as a team.

Need to pass a background check and Drug Test. 7 years of experience.
