Nursing Supervisor

Nurse Supervisor (RN) Texas Oncology is looking for a Nurse Supervisor (RN) to join our team at the Weatherford, Texas location. This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday position with no weekends, calls, or major holidays. Hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Coordinate all activities related to nursing functions and patient care within budgetary constraints. Adhere to national and company standards and guidelines for specialty regulations. Supervise nursing staff that provides professional nursing care to patients. Recognize physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of care. Support and adhere to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities Clinical oversight: Oversee the clinical operations for all nursing clinical support activities. Ensure adequate staffing/FTEs for assigned clinics. Maintain effective nursing staff coverage and operating costs for the practice and/or satellites within budgetary parameters. Ensure clinical operations and practice are consistent with organizational objectives. Monitor and evaluate patient satisfaction and quality assurance measures. Staff development: Coordinate, implement, and assist with staff training, in‑services, and internal developmental programs for nursing staff. Assist with annual performance evaluations for nursing department staff. Serve as mentor/preceptor and provide day‑to‑day guidance to less experienced nurses. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or MSN preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state. Minimum 5 years of active practice as a registered nurse, including at least 3 years in oncology. 1 year of leadership experience preferred. Current CPR certification required. Current or pending oncology certification preferred. Prior leadership experience (charge nurse, lead RN, or supervisor). Experience supporting staff development, education, and performance management. Ability to manage operations across multiple clinic sites and support direct patient care as needed. Experience with quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and clinical workflows. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and manage a fast‑paced clinical environment. Physical Requirements Large percent of time performing computer‑based work is required. Requirements include full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye‑hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
