Work Environment

This role is based on active construction sites, often associated with roofing and related projects in Southern Wisconsin. Work takes place outdoors in all types of weather, and the position requires standing for extended periods while managing traffic and monitoring site safety. You will work closely with a small, tight‑knit crew and interact regularly with equipment operators, truck drivers, and other construction professionals. The environment is safety‑focused and fast‑moving, with regular use of traffic control equipment such as cones, signs, barricades, and flagging tools, as well as basic hand tools and power tools for general labor tasks. Appropriate personal protective equipment is provided or required in accordance with site safety standards, and dress is practical and suitable for outdoor construction work, with an emphasis on visibility and protection.

This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
