Nurse Manager of Operating Room The Nurse Manager of Operating Room role is tailored for a transformational nursing leader excited by a patient‑first culture, recognized nursing excellence, evidence‑based practice, and a Just Culture approach to safety. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, the Nurse Manager partners closely with the CNO, anesthesia leadership, surgeons, sterile processing, pre‑op, and PACU to drive safe throughput, fair block utilization, surgeon satisfaction, and zero‑harm performance. Responsibilities include: Day‑to‑day OR operations and staff coaching Hiring and retention of nursing staff Clinical education and competency validation Budget stewardship and supply/implant oversight Vendor management and alignment with AORN/AAMI standards Accreditation readiness and infection prevention Peri‑operative quality improvement Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience and scope of practice.
