MNRK Music Group is looking for a Manager, Direct to Consumer Operations to join our team in New York. Reporting to the VP, Direct to Consumer, this role leads the management and optimization of MNRK's direct-to-consumer business across e-commerce storefronts, product launches, merchandising, inventory, and fulfillment operations.

The ideal candidate combines strong e-commerce expertise with operational excellence, using data-driven insights to enhance customer experience, drive revenue growth, and support successful physical and digital product releases. As a key cross-functional partner, this individual will collaborate with marketing, retail, production, and external vendors to deliver a seamless consumer journey from product launch through delivery. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategy and execution while helping shape the continued growth of MNRK's direct-to-consumer business and fan experience.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Own and optimize the direct-to-consumer storefront experience across e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and social commerce channels, ensuring a seamless customer journey and strong conversion performance.
• Manage digital merchandising, product catalog updates, pricing, promotions, and launch execution to maximize visibility, engagement, and revenue.
• Monitor storefront performance and customer behavior, leveraging analytics, testing, and reporting to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Partner with marketing teams to support email, retention, paid media, and promotional initiatives that drive traffic and sales across DTC channels.
• Lead inventory planning and coordination with fulfillment partners, ensuring product availability, accurate inventory visibility, and efficient order fulfillment.
• Oversee physical product operations for vinyl, CDs, and other formats by coordinating production timelines, vendor relationships, and release schedules in partnership with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners.
• Partner cross-functionally with marketing, retail, finance, operations, and external vendors to execute product launches, improve operational processes, and support continued growth of the DTC business.

What Makes You Qualified:

• 5+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer operations, e-commerce, digital merchandising, or related functions, preferably within music, entertainment, media, or consumer products.
• Proven experience managing e-commerce storefronts, product launches, merchandising, and customer experience initiatives.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using performance data and reporting tools to drive business decisions and revenue growth.
• Experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus, or similar e-commerce platforms, including marketplace and fulfillment integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and product launches simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, operations, finance, retail, and external vendor partners.
• Knowledge of inventory planning, fulfillment operations, and physical product supply chains.
• Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

What Would Be Music to Our Ears:

• Music industry, entertainment, or media experience.
• Experience with Klaviyo or similar CRM and retention marketing platforms.
• Familiarity with paid media channels, including Meta and Google.
• Knowledge of physical music production, distribution, and fulfillment processes.
• Experience with Luminate reporting, chart strategy, or related music industry tools.
• Passion for physical music and the independent music landscape.

This is a hybrid role that will require you to commute to our New York office a minimum of three days a week.
