Registered Nurse, RN (Full Time-Days) - Surgery CVOR Robust, growing surgery department, is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you? Work Location: 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231. Work Hours: Full time- 40 Hours/week; Monday-Friday 0630-1500- On call and holiday coverage required Surgery Department Highlights Texas Health Dallas has 24 Main OR Suites, 2 Endovascular rooms, 3 Robot rooms, 2 Heart rooms. Fast paced, high volume of open vascular, endo vascular, and hearts Level I Trauma facility. Strong minimally invasive CV program Here’s What You Need Associate degree Nursing or Nursing Diploma required BSN (Preferred) 1 Year experience as a registered nurse in the operating room or completion of an RN OR residency program (Required) CV experience is not required. RN - Registered Nurse (Required upon hire) BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Upon hire preferred) What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Intervenes as appropriate Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
