Facility:
This opportunity is based across multiple Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving diverse, underserved communities throughout the San Diego area. These sites are designated Health Professional Shortage Areas, making providers eligible for state and federal loan repayment programs, and offer a hybrid work model supporting both in-person and telehealth services.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist - Outpatient Clinic


Job Details:

• Fully licensed Clinical Psychologist required; LMFTs are not eligible for this role
• Spanish language proficiency is required
• Work experience outside of the license is desired but not required
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm with a hybrid model (3 days in office per week, potentially reducing to 2 days in future)
• Fast-paced environment with sessions structured as either 30-minute or 1-hour appointments
• Average of 12 patient visits per day with a manageable caseload
• Mix of in-person and video/telehealth visits
• Serve a diverse population including low-income individuals, geriatric patients, adolescents, and adults, with adults as the primary focus
• FQHC level care addresses mild-to-moderate concerns with 1-hour intakes, 30-minute adult visits, and 45-minute child visits
• CCBHC level care addresses moderate-to-severe concerns with weekly therapy sessions and 45-minute appointments, seeing approximately 9 patients per day
• High need areas include therapists who see children ages 5 and up (especially under 10), and therapists with experience working with pregnant and postpartum patients
• All sites are designated Health Professional Shortage Areas and qualify for state and federal loan repayment programs

Compensation:
Temporary employment is available based on an hourly rate determined by the employee's experience level on a 0-14 year scale. Please contact us for more information.
