Job Summary Cinder Residuals Texas is seeking a strong, hands‑on leader to serve as Operations Shift Supervisor at our industrial facility in Fairfield, TX. The Operations Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant plant performance. This role supervises operators and technicians, coordinates shift activities, responds to operational issues, and upholds company standards for safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Supervise, lead, and support plant operators and technicians during assigned shifts Monitor plant performance to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards Coordinate daily shift activities including personnel assignments, process checks, and equipment operation Respond to abnormal conditions, alarms, and plant upsets; provide guidance on corrective actions Ensure shift documentation such as logs, reports, and checklists are completed accurately Communicate shift status to incoming supervisors and management during turnover meetings Enforce company policies and safety procedures, providing leadership in incident prevention and response Assist with employee training and development, providing coaching and corrective feedback when needed Coordinate with maintenance personnel and management on equipment issues and outages Serve as the highest authority on‑site during off‑hours or night/weekend shifts Support other Site Operations at the request of an immediate Manager or Plant Manager Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or GED required; additional technical training or certifications preferred 3+ years of experience in industrial plant operations, preferably in a supervisory or lead role Strong understanding of plant processes, safety protocols, and control systems (e.g., SCADA/PLC) Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule, including nights and weekends Must be able to wear PPE and work in an industrial environment when needed Valid driver’s license required Physical Demands & Work Environment Work is performed in an industrial facility, including time in control areas and field conditions with exposure to noise, dust, heat, outdoor elements, and operational hazards May involve standing or sitting for extended periods, bending, climbing, using hand tools, and working around heavy equipment or machinery Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights or in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks Use of communication devices or computer systems may be required, depending on job function PPE must be worn and all safety protocols followed Additional Information Cinder Residuals Texas, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
