Make a positive impact on students’ lives as a contract Occupational Therapist working in a school-based setting near Aurora, IL. In this role, you’ll collaborate with educators and families to support students’ growth, helping them build essential skills for academic and personal success. You’ll have an opportunity to work in a supportive environment, shaping a caseload that will be determined based on student needs. This position offers the chance to use your expertise in occupational therapy while enjoying a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Illinois OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience providing OT services in school settings is highly valued
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
• Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students as outlined in their IEPs
• Develop individualized treatment plans, adapting activities to support each student’s unique needs
• Consult regularly with teachers, families, and other team members
• Document services, progress notes, and maintain compliance with legal and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal development
