Key Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience delivering occupational therapy services in schools preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt practice to diverse student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Dedication to fostering an inclusive, positive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs related to motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students’ IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation on provided services and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on OT-related goals and strategies
• Offer recommendations for classroom modifications and assistive devices when appropriate
