Senior Property Accountant
Full-time
Kforce's client in is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their team in Braintree, MA. This client is a long running real estate company. They have an excellent culture and hold fun outings for the team. They offer a strong benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick/vacation days, etc. This role will be fully in office to start and will move to a hybrid schedule after 3 months (1 day a week remote). Responsibilities will include:
- Record financial data
- Create and maintain payables and journal entries
- Conduct account reconciliations
- Review and analyze general ledger activity and resolve any discrepancies
- Ensure mortgage payments and taxes are paid timely
- Analyze and record accrued expenses
- Prepare audit workpapers and manage the audit process
- Prepare reporting packages to lenders and investors
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
- 4+ years of accounting experience within public accounting or real estate
- Yardi software experience is preferred
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
