- Base salary: $185k–$250k DOE + bonus

- Hybrid remote — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
- Direct client contact and meaningful responsibility from day one — coverage opinions, motion practice, depositions, and trial participation
- National reputation practice representing domestic and international carriers — one of the most recognized insurance groups in California
- Full spectrum coverage docket — from routine opinions to the most complex multi-insurer and reinsurance disputes
- Appellate practice with a track record of landmark precedents shaping California insurance law
- 27 practice groups under one roof — cross-referral pipeline into environmental, construction, labor & employment, transportation, white collar and more
- Firm promotes from within — partnership track is real and active
- Drafting coverage opinions across CGL, advertising injury, D&O, professional liability, workers' compensation, and first party property cases
- Litigating insurance coverage disputes in state and federal courts — contract actions, bad faith claims, and coverage disputes involving multiple insurers
- Excess and reinsurance dispute resolution
- Third party liability coverage — environmental and pollution, asbestos, construction defect, professional liability, advertising and personal injury, employment practices, motor carrier liability
- First party coverage — property damage and related claims
- Supervisory counsel for monitoring litigation and negotiating coverage disputes
- Policy drafting and interpretation — advising underwriters and claim examiners on liability risks and policy wording
- Appellate practice — advancing precedents that uphold policy enforceability and define rules of policy interpretation
- SIU counsel and insurance fraud training
- California Bar admission
- Insurance coverage experience
- Coverage opinion writing and coverage litigation background required
