Senior Counsel - Insurance Coverage Litigation

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Counsel specializing in Insurance Coverage Litigation to join their Los Angeles office. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in handling complex insurance coverage litigation matters, including consumer class actions and coverage disputes. This role requires a proactive attorney capable of independently managing cases and interacting with high-level executives of major insurance companies. Duties Develop litigation strategies for insurance coverage disputes and class actions. Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft memoranda. Analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice. Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and briefs. Take and defend depositions. Attend court hearings and mediations. Manage document review and all pretrial to trial aspects. Supervise associates and paralegals. Interact with clients effectively. Requirements Admission to practice in California. 10+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation. Experience in state and federal courts. Excellent academic credentials and solid work history. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications California Bar admission. Skills Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and mentoring abilities. Ability to manage sensitive and time-sensitive matters. Strong organizational and time management skills.
