Join us and be part of something extraordinary!Project Manager ICountry/Region: US Location: Gray Court, SC, US Req ID 92408 | Gray Court, United States ZF Gainesville, LLC Project Manager I - Test Systems Position Summary: The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and evaluation of project programs from initial conception to full execution for an array of different programs. These project and programs will center on the topic of customer capital equipment assembly, onsite- installation and commissioning. Must utilize defined ZF methodology and close cooperation with the customer and Test System organization. This position oversees managing the design and development of projects from concept to after implementation evaluations while directing and steering team members (internal/ external) for successful completion of a project both within time and budgetary constraints.Position Responsibilities:Work with management to define projects scope & expectations.Create & control documentation which instruct project management from headquarter, engineering, purchasing, service and other team functions on the project scope from customer PO to customer acceptance and handover to service.Support the troubleshooting and resolution of arising issues on the customer side as well as on Test Systems side. Lead and direct the project and manage conflicts within the team/area.Support tasks in the field of Service after handover to insure proper know how transfer.Create & support Audit processes of documentation, procedures, backups & systemsDevelop & maintain a roadmap for project controlling which incorporates local and global targets, goals for projects as well as corporate initiatives in transforming the operations.Facilitate/conduct project meetings regularly in conjunction with management, support staff, groups affected by the project and other pertinent personnel and be prepared to discuss updates on assigned tasksPromote cohesive project teams, encourage team members to participate/ contribute to the project success. Involving the defined 3rd parties and be 1st point of contact for customer as well as ZF project team members.Routinely provide supervision of a project or multiple projects to achieve a cohesive vision.Use program plans and other metrics to support project reviews with management.Report status of Project(s) to Steering committee/Management Team/Business Unit and implement actions to mitigate any risks to the project.Establish and maintain metrics for each project that evaluate progress and expected outcomes.Work with managers to plan for proper resources on project teams.Develop relationships with customers by providing open communication, transparency, and input.Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, formal training, reviewing professional publications, establishing, and expanding professional networks.Essential Skills and Experience:Bachelor's Degree (Technical preferred)4 -6+ years experience in the field of PM within the capital equipment (testing equipment) industryProficient with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong analytical abilities and attention to detailAbility to work independently in a fast paced, demanding environmentAbility to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and managementSolid organization and time/project management skillsBe part of our ZF team as Project Manager I and apply now!What Does DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Mean for ZF as a Company?At ZF, we continuously strive to build and maintain a culture where inclusiveness is lived and diversity is valued.
