We are looking for a motivated, 1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to: Lead and support hourly production associates in a high-volume stamping operation Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance Coordinate daily production priorities, manpower, press assignments, and workflow Monitor production performance and respond quickly to downtime, quality concerns, and other operational issues Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tool & Die, Materials, Safety, and HR Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate production goals and priorities Coach, train, and develop associates while recognizing strong performance Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall performance Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed Build a positive, accountable work environment where employees understand how their work contributes to the success of the plant This full-time role is a part of our Bluffton Ohio Production team and reports to the Operations Manager. What we are looking for: A floor-focused leader who can earn the respect of the team while maintaining high expectations At least five years, previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Automotive stamping, metal forming, press operations, or similar high-volume manufacturing experience preferred Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving production environment Experience managing safety, quality, productivity, and employee performance A continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo Ability to work collaboratively across departments A leadership style that combines accountability, consistency, respect, and employeedevelopment Where you’ll be: Excellent Rated School Systems Great family events and parks Well known for their “Blaze of Light” displays during the winter holiday season.
