They will display the ability to work closely with others and as a team. Responsibilities listed below cover some of the significant duties performed, but do not exclude other occasional work assignments not mentioned.**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES****:*** Pulls and assembles hardware, trough, and wire products according to the customer’s order* Packages material into boxes and onto skids* Scans all material with a scan gun to verify accuracy and completeness* Affixes appropriate labels and packing lists* Prepares appropriate shipping documents* Operates a stretch wrap machine to secure boxes and reels to a skid* Operates a forklift to load customer orders onto outgoing trucks* Assists with cycle counts, physical inventories, and other inventory control activities**POSITION REQUIREMENTS****:*** High School Diploma; warehouse/distribution experience* English: proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication* Good physical condition, as you will be walking and standing the majority of the day* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds* Above average forklift driving skills (may be taught)* Attention to detail required in correct item and quantity* Material identification is extremely critical to detect quality issues* Basic computer skills required to operate scan gun and shipping programs on computer* Basic math skills required to count items* Initiative needed to drive your own performance.
