TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Experience Required License: Compact License Required Certifications: - BLS - NRP Must-Have: - High-risk experience Description: 8-week contract length. 4x12 night shifts. Candidates must have experience in high-risk labor and delivery. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The unit handles a high volume of deliveries, approximately 500-600 per month. Daily average census is about 15 patients. Must be able to float between postpartum and antepartum units if necessary. Candidates will function as the baby nurse during deliveries. Care for the newborn includes assessments and administering vitamin K injections. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and the Epic charting system is required. Preferred certifications include ACLS and AWHONN Advanced. Required skills include support for high-risk deliveries, triaging obstetrical patients, and providing couplet care. Must be willing to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Pre-approved time off will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Candidates should provide references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years. Floating to sister facilities may be required. Refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment.
