Material Handler

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our team at a large-scale food manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have forklift experience, strong math skills, and the ability to handle physical work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products within the facility.
• Follow detailed recipes and order specifications to ensure accurate spice production.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Assist in inventory management and stock control as needed.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience is required.
• Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment not required but preferred.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to read and write clearly to follow recipes and document production processes.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual labor as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well.
