Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a care plan that addresses the social, emotional, and recreational needs of our residents

• Create and lead a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, games, and entertainment programs

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure that activities align with individual care plans and promote overall well-being

• Provide supervision, training, and guidance to activity aides and volunteers

• Maintain accurate records and reports, including attendance tracking and activity logs

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and resident satisfaction surveys

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation therapy, occupational therapy, or related field preferred

• Minimum of 0 years of experience in a long-term care setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Certification in activity direction or a related field (e.g., recreation therapy) preferred
