Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Job Description Outpatient Clinic M -F (8a - 5p) Bilingual Highly Preferred Albuquerque and Los Lunas, NM Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate expertise in various medical settings. This role requires a compassionate individual who is committed to providing high-quality patient care and has the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. Duties Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments. Develop and implement patient care plans, including medication administration and treatment protocols. Provide acute care, including triage, IV infusion, and emergency interventions. Manage chronic conditions through ongoing patient education and health coaching. Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization, and spinal taps as needed. Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in various settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and advance medical knowledge. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality of patient information. Provide telehealth services to expand access to care for patients.
