Key Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
• Solid understanding of educational documentation and IEP processes
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, staff, and families
• Commitment to providing student-centered therapy, adapting strategies to individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students’ OT needs and establish targeted intervention plans
• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per their IEPs
• Develop and implement interventions that support students’ academic and functional performance
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development
• Maintain accurate records of services, progress, and communication
• Educate staff and families on techniques and supports that enhance student outcomes
