Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Experience or knowledge working in school settings preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to individualized educational programs (IEPs)
• Organizational skills for managing caseloads and timely documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop targeted intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to promote student success
• Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate updates with the educational team
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute knowledge to multidisciplinary planning
• Implement evidence-based practices to foster students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and daily functional tasks
