Procurement Internship - Summer 2027

FlightSafety International is the world's premier professional aviation training company and supplier of flight simulators, visual systems and displays to commercial, government and military organizations. The company provides training for pilots, technicians and other aviation professionals from 167 countries and independent territories. FlightSafety operates the world's largest fleet of advanced full-flight simulators and award-winning maintenance training at Learning Centers and training locations in the United States, Canada, France and the United Kingdom. The Procurement Intern will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals gaining insight to FlightSafety International's culture and business philosophy. The role supports the procurement process by sourcing suppliers, requesting quotations, and analyzing pricing to ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions. Responsibilities include creating, tracking, and maintaining purchase orders to enable timely procurement, as well as coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to monitor deliveries and resolve order-related issues. The position also partners with Procurement Operations to assist with reporting, data analytics, spend analysis, and evaluating supplier performance. This paid internship is a 10-week program that will begin June 1st, and will conclude August 4th, 2027. 40 hours per week will be expected of each intern. Tasks and Responsibilities Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service. Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business. Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship. Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales. Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes. Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems. Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, working towards a Bachelor's or Master'sdegree. A major in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations or Business is preferred. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application. Must be submitted on resume. Fundamental knowledge of computer programs, techniques, and concepts for the area of application. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive, personable, and ability to develop relationships. Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information.
