Molding Engineer

*Most Important Skills Needed:

• Plastic injection mold processing and process development.
• Automated assembly and injection molding manufacturing.
• Engineering project management from conception through production.
• Equipment installation, start-up, validation, and qualification.
• Engineering studies, process evaluations, and troubleshooting.
• Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic design modifications.
• Engineering specifications, technical drawings, project documentation, and timeline management.
• Lean Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Process improvement focused on scrap reduction, cycle-time improvement, efficiency, and waste elimination.
• Experience with software, hardware, and vision technology.
• Strong communication, organization, project management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• RJG Master Molder certification preferred.
• Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Significant relevant process engineering experience may be considered in place of formal education.
• Minimum three years of plastic injection mold processing experience required
