The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents with memory-related challenges through engaging and meaningful activities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the Memory Care Coordinator to design and implement therapeutic and recreational activities tailored to the needs and interests of residents. Facilitate daily and weekly group activities and one-on-one engagements, ensuring a supportive and enjoyable environment. Assist in evaluating residents' progress and adapt activities to meet individual changes in abilities and preferences. Maintain records of activities and residents' participation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Contribute to a positive and energetic atmosphere by encouraging resident involvement and interaction. Provide compassionate and personalized support to residents during activities, adapting to their needs with sensitivity. Assist with the setup and cleanup of activity spaces to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Support residents during meal times and other daily routines as needed, ensuring comfort and well‑being. Qualifications Previous experience working with individuals with memory care challenges is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate residents. Creative problem‑solving skills with a passion for developing innovative activities. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a positive and professional attitude. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in memory care or related fields is a plus. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire. Working Conditions Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to meet the needs of residents. Physical stamina to participate in activities, including the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
