Join Our Team as a Bookkeeping Assistant! Are you ready to start a fulfilling journey as a Bookkeeping Assistant? We're looking for a dedicated individual to join our finance team in Fairbanks. As a Bookkeeping Assistant, you'll assist in supporting our organization's financial health through completing recurring data entry and administrative tasks. Responsibilities: - Record financial data in QuickBooks as directed.
- Complete recurring tasks according to written procedure guidelines.
- Assist in special projects as assigned by the Finance Director.
Desired Qualifications: - Experience accurately and efficiently performing data entry.
- Experience in QuickBooks software and Google Workspace interface.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
- Must maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Must not use tobacco or marijuana products during working hours, on company owned property or during company sponsored events.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
