About This Role
St Patrick Catholic Preschool is hiring for an experienced 3 yr old teacher. The position is scheduled on a school calendar and does not start until July 27th and runs thru May 2027. Applicant should be comfortable working in a faith-based preschool. Someone who is passionate about helping children learn and grow in their faith.
What You'll Do- Provide age-appropriate activities that go hand in hand with Kentucky Standards (we are not ditto based)
- Classroom management providing a safe environment for all students
- Observe and track children's progress
- Ability to communicate with parents, team and children
- High School Diploma and 18 yrs of age
- Meet all the employment requirements of Division of Regulated Childcare (background check, TB test, CPR/1st Aide training)
- Meet all requirements of the Archdiocese of Louisville (background check and attend Safe Environment training)
- Experience working with children in a group school or program setting
- Able to work Monday through Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm and a very few weeknights for family events
- CDA or Early Childhood background (Someone that enjoys working with children and is knowledgeable of children and their development stages
- Someone flexible
- Someone who works well with others, a team player
