Schedule: 10-Hour Afternoon Shifts (12:30 PM – 11:00 PM | 4 days/week with Wednesdays off; must flex to day shift if needed).

Weekend Requirements: None.

On-Call Requirements: 1 call shift per month (if needed).

Position Summary:

A regional medical center in the Glens Falls, NY area is seeking a Temporary Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) for an afternoon-shift assignment. The CST will assist surgical teams in general surgery, orthopedics, vascular, and urological procedures, maintaining sterile fields and supporting intraoperative surgical care. Full completion of the facility’s Operating Room Orientation is required upon start.

Candidate Submission & Qualification Requirements:

Clinical Skills & Experience:

• Surgical Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in General Surgery, Orthopedic Fracture Care, Vascular, and Urology procedures [REQUIRED].
• Travel Experience: Prior travel nursing/allied health experience [HIGHLY PREFERRED].

Licensure & Certifications:

• Board Certification: Active NBSTSA Certification (Must be uploaded with profile) [REQUIRED].
• Life Support: Active BLS Certification (Must be uploaded with profile) [REQUIRED].

Geographic & Compliance Eligibility Restrictions:

• Permanent Address Validation: Permanent residential address must be included in the candidate profile and match their Driver's License or State ID (validated during compliance) [REQUIRED].

• Restricted Local Counties: Travelers residing in the following New York counties are ineligible for travel assignment consideration [REQUIRED]:

  • Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington.
