Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgical Unit

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care on a Surgical Inpatient Unit, caring for adult and pediatric patients recovering from various surgical procedures including orthopedic, urological, thoracic, vascular, gynecological, ENT, and general surgeries. Key responsibilities Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans Coordinating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams Monitoring patient conditions Educating patients and families Documenting care using electronic health records Participating in rounds and effective communication Delegating tasks Promoting safety, quality, and teamwork Qualifications Active NYS RN license Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred) Certifications such as BLS, with additional unit-specific certifications like ACLS, PALS, and stroke education depending on the department Skills in clinical judgment, emergency response, effective communication, and healthcare reporting are essential Join a Magnet-designated organization known for nursing excellence. career growth opportunities mentorship tuition reimbursement a collaborative work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
