Schedule Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00 pm – 6:00 am Responsibilities Drive large‑capacity vehicles (10‑12 passenger vans and wheelchair buses) as required for transportation to training centers, medical appointments, home visits, and community outings. Complete required driving and vehicle safety training and maintain DOT compliance. Complete medication administration course, maintain valid certification, and administer medications per prescribed protocols, monitor self‑administrations, and manage medication disposal. Provide dignified care and communicate in a friendly, professional manner with residents, coworkers, visitors, and customers. Implement treatment, training programs, and service goals across self‑help, daily living, social skills, leisure activities, and community inclusion. Implement behavior reduction and management programs directed by the Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst, collecting data and documenting procedures. Maintain certification as a Professional Crisis Management practitioner and deploy it appropriately in behavioral crises. Document behavior, programs, health status, personal care needs, and related communication accurately and timely. Provide positive social and leisure interaction throughout the day. Safely lift, transfer, and reposition residents, using correct body mechanics and physical‑management techniques. Ensure safety during mealtimes, following individualized food preparation, dietary restrictions, and adaptive equipment protocols. Aid with personal care (toileting, bathing, dressing, hygiene) as needed. Monitor and report issues related to personal care or medical needs, including adaptive equipment. Encourage independence by offering choices throughout the day. Perform housekeeping duties (washing dishes, washing, making beds, laundry, trash removal, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, mopping, sweeping) to maintain a safe, clean environment. Observe and promptly report health or safety issues and follow appropriate procedures. Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation to the Abuse Hotline. Follow emergency procedures during drills and actual emergencies. Ensure adequate supervision during scheduled hours and provide standing coverage when necessary, including during inclement weather or hurricanes. Provide direct supervision, support, and feedback to DSP1 staff. Collaborate with the Program Director/Program Manager on performance evaluation of DSPs and participation in the positive direction process. Assist with staffing ratio and scheduling to maintain appropriate staffing levels. Assist new employees during onboarding, training, and modeling. Assist the Program Director/Program Manager in support‑plan development and program assessment and development. Ensure timely completion of reports and documentation audits for safety, transportation, central files, and daily communication logs. Enter purchase orders and monthly attendance in the accounting software system. Attend required trainings and monthly staff meetings. Follow all Quest policies and procedures and complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma; must be 21 years old or older. Minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, or in an intensive behavior, psychiatric, nursing home, or childcare setting; or equivalent college/vocational training (30 semester hours or 720 classroom hours). Supervisory experience preferred. Florida driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the past three years. Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship. Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English. Physical ability to transfer, position residents, implement crisis management, and lift up to 50 lb. Basic computer skills. Strong teamwork and time‑management skills. Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision. Leadership and oversight abilities in staff management.
