Assembler

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities As our Assembler, you will be assembling clamps, safety products, and/or mechanical subassemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties. Reading work instructions, following Assembly Process Details and Packaging Process Details and sample assemblies, or receiving verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Positioning and aligning parts in specified relationships to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device. Crimping, screwing, bolding, riveting, cementing, press fitting, or performing similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Assembling and attaching hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies; cleaning and packing all products. Use of an auto bagger and label program required. Setting up and maintaining machines that press, shape, or wind component parts. Performing online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards. Using hand and power tools, bench equipment such as presses, vices, drill presses, tube cutters, benders, grinders, and fixtures. Other duties as assigned. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED. Knowledge of and ability to support ISO 9000 standards and laboratory accreditation programs. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving moving mechanical parts. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
