- Client is seeking an experienced Construction Field Representative to support a county's portfolio of renovation and new construction projects.
- This individual will serve as an on-site liaison between contractors, project managers, and county stakeholders to ensure projects are progressing according to plan, meeting quality standards, and remaining compliant with applicable codes and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily construction activities across multiple renovation and ground-up projects to ensure alignment with plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Prepare and maintain detailed daily reports, documenting progress, issues, and field conditions for stakeholders and project teams.
- Utilize construction management software (e.g., Procore, eBuilder, Bluebeam, or equivalent) to track project updates, documentation, and workflows.
- Serve as a point of contact between contractors, county representatives, engineers, and inspectors to ensure clear communication and issue resolution.
- Review project documentation including drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Support code compliance and regulatory adherence, ensuring all work aligns with county, state, and federal requirements.
- Identify and escalate quality, safety, or schedule risks proactively - Assist with punch walks, closeout documentation, and turnover activities.
- Track and report on construction progress, milestones, and completion status.
Must Have:
- Experience in Construction Management.
- Experience in Conducting site inspections and field observations to verify workmanship, materials, and installation meet project standards and applicable codes.
