About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Construction to provide senior leadership across estimating, project management, and field operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and maintaining the company's standards for project execution, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This executive role involves leading and developing a team of construction professionals, overseeing project profitability, and guiding the team through various challenges. The Vice President of Construction will also serve as a trusted contact for key clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners, and is expected to bring their own leadership approach while upholding the company's values and reputation. Applicants for the Vice President of Construction position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive commercial construction management experience with a General Contractor. Strong estimating and preconstruction experience, as well as a proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, are essential. The role requires a candidate with strong financial acumen, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, and above all, high character, integrity, and a great attitude. A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
