Pharmacy Technician

Support pharmacy operations in a long-term care (LTC) mail order environment with this overnight Pharmacy Technician role. This position offers a schedule of seven nights on followed by seven nights off, working from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, allowing for a balanced lifestyle. The assignment spans 13 weeks and operates under a contract-to-hire model, providing a pathway to permanent employment. Responsibilities include accurately preparing medications, managing inventory, and assisting with order fulfillment specific to LTC mail order processes. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license is required Previous experience in a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy setting is highly beneficial National certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is a plus Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently during overnight shifts Schedule: Wednesday through Thursday overnights, seven days on and seven days off Hours: 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM This opportunity blends steady overnight hours with the potential for a permanent position, ideal for pharmacy technicians seeking to expand their expertise in LTC pharmacy operations.
