Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacy Technician to work overnight shifts in a long-term care and mail order pharmacy environment. This role offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, with shifts from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM, spanning approximately 13 weeks, with potential to transition to a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications in compliance with pharmacy protocols
- Manage medication inventory and ensure quality control in the long-term care and mail order setting
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support patient care
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation according to regulatory standards
- Adhere to safety and security procedures throughout the overnight shift
Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
- Previous experience in long-term care (LTC) pharmacy preferred
- PTCB national certification is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts consistently
Location:
- Position based in Framingham, MA
Schedule:
- Wednesday and Thursday overnight shifts, 7 days on, 7 days off
- Shift hours: 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM
This is a temporary to direct hire role, providing an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a specialized pharmacy environment while working a stable overnight schedule. Candidates licensed in Massachusetts with relevant LTC experience are encouraged to apply.
