Description - Your Responsibilities

• Conduct standard and complex laboratory tests-including hematology, microbiology, and immunology-following established procedures.
• Evaluate test results for correctness, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and ensure lab instruments are well-maintained and calibrated.
• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for thorough examination when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, guide new employees or students, and assist in sustaining laboratory standards.
• Uphold a safe, clean workspace while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Ensure certification remains current throughout your employment.
