BCNY campers will develop life skills and awareness of social responsibility through outdoor exploration and education. Summary of Position

Coat Check Monitor (Operations) will perform a variety of duties to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the Clubhouse facilities during program hours. This role will serve as a “jack of all trades” supporting program operations that may include youth group management, lesson implementation, supply distribution, program area supervision, member supervision and visitor relations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

· Monitor and positively interact with members at all times to ensure members are safe and engaged.

· Record hourly ratio counts, ensure members are scanning into areas, and maintain all required evaluation information.

· Provide engaging and informative clubhouse tours to visitors, potential members, parents and community.

· Monitor program areas to include, but not limited to entry and exit ways, locker rooms, coat check.

· Ensure proper care of all materials takes place, organize game room and report any misused or damaged materials.

Education and/or Experience

Post-secondary training or college credits; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Demonstrated organizational/ leadership ability; Associate’s degree (A.A) preferred.
