Senior Account Executive

Search for story opportunities and industry trends and place stories in the media Conduct media outreach focused on higher-value media targets Direct junior staff during media outreach Write press releases, blog posts, media queries, bylines, and social media posts Edit content to align with campaign strategic messaging and meet compliance requirements Brief clients on anticipated interview and appearance topics and themes Prepare and draft talking points for Vice President approval and timely client delivery Support the Vice President in onboarding new clients Implement scopes of work, create messaging matrices, and identify short- and long-term campaign goals Engage and communicate with clients by email, phone, video conference, and in person Address client concerns, recalibrate expectations, and resolve client issues Attend, participate in, and lead client calls and briefings Provide strategic input, analysis, feedback, updates, and status reports on client calls Stay current on client-industry issues, processes, terms, products, and regulations through relevant media, blogs, and social feeds Develop increasingly sophisticated understanding of issues affecting clients’ businesses and industries Requirements An undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or a similar major Four to seven years PR experience Passion for media relations Understanding of AI and how it can support work Superior verbal and written communication skills Team-first attitude and ability to work with junior and senior team members Client service orientation Adaptability to changing work demands and priorities Detail orientation Self-starter with a positive attitude Organized and effective multitasker Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and operational and productivity tools Must be in commuting distance to one of the Philadelphia-area, NYC, or Boston offices Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in media relations, client communication, and strategic messaging development. Proficient in writing and editing various content types while ensuring compliance and alignment with campaign goals.
