Shift: 24-Hour Day Shift (Monday 7AM - Monday 7AM) with night call coverage

Hours/Week: Approximately 40+

Employment Type: Contract/Locum

License/Certifications: TN License or IMLC, ACLS, BLS, DEA (TN required)

Experience: Proven experience in General GI and ERCP procedures

Pay rate: $4,290.00 per 24-hour shift (equivalent to $5,500/day)

What You'll Do:

• Provide adult GI consultation, diagnosis, and treatment in a hospital setting
• Perform advanced procedures including ERCP and general GI endoscopy
• Support OR and endoscopy nursing teams during procedures
• Assist with patient rounding and post-procedure care as needed
• Work with Olympus equipment and assist with EUS scheduling and procedures
• Manage a procedural volume of approximately 7-8 cases daily
• Maintain documentation using EMR system (preferably EPIC)
• Cover weekend and night call responsibilities with minimal after-hours onsite work

What You Need:

• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• TN Medical License or eligible for IMLC
• ACLS/BLS certification
• Proven experience with ERCP and complex GI procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to obtain TN DEA

This role is based at a leading healthcare facility in Kingsport, Tennessee, supporting both Endo Suite and Main OR departments. The position involves handling diverse adult GI cases, procedures, and outpatient consultations. You will work alongside supportive staff and utilize Olympus equipment to deliver high-quality care. The schedule is flexible to ensure work-life balance, including weekend call coverage and overnight duties.
