Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient requirements and design individualized therapy approaches to help them realize their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Activities: Employ evidence-based methods to improve patient motor skills, cognitive capabilities, and day-to-day living experiences
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families in therapy techniques to facilitate continued progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and refine treatment plans as necessary to ensure that patients remain on track

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications Required

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a necessity
