We are seeking an experienced and dependable Full Time Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our 3 East Stroke/Telemetry team. This opportunity offers the chance to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a fast-paced acute care environment supporting telemetry and stroke patients with varying levels of acuity.

In this role, you will partner closely with nursing leadership, providers, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to drive positive patient outcomes, maintain smooth unit operations, and deliver exceptional patient care.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekends and holidays required.

• Deliver high-quality nursing care for telemetry and stroke patients within a fast-paced acute care environment while managing varying levels of patient acuity.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns/interventions appropriately.
• Utilize evidence-based nursing practice to support safe patient outcomes, medication administration, stroke protocols, and telemetry monitoring standards.
• Collaborate closely with providers, nursing leadership, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and continuity of care throughout the shift.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, discharge planning, and ongoing care needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support unit operations, patient throughput, and quality improvement initiatives while contributing to a positive team environment.
• Serve as a clinical resource and collaborative team member while supporting onboarding, mentoring, and development of staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Full Time Night Shift Availability: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM with rotating weekends and holidays required.

Licensure:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland required or eligibility to practice under Compact state
• agreements in accordance with the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS certification required or eligible for completion within established timeframe.
• Specialty certification preferred.

Clinical Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of acute care Registered Nurse experience preferred.
• Prior telemetry, stroke, progressive care, or medical surgical nursing experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to recognize critical cardiac rhythms and escalate interventions appropriately.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, prioritization, and patient care management skills required.
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Compensation:
• Pay Range: $41.12 - $55.73/hr.
