In this pivotal role, you will oversee master schedule creation, manage daily coverage, track attendance, and partner with leadership to keep unit staffing optimized for high-quality resident care.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule Master Management: Create, update, and maintain staff schedules across all shifts and departments to ensure compliance and adequate resident coverage.Shift Shortage Coverage: Address immediate call-outs, tardiness, and vacancy gaps by adjusting schedules, contacting internal staff, or coordinating with approved agencies.Attendance & Payroll Tracking: Record attendance, call-outs, and overtime data to generate metrics reports for leadership and support accurate payroll processing.HR & Recruitment Alignment: Work closely with HR regarding leaves (FMLA/non-FMLA), status changes, and resignations while supporting recruitment and retention strategies.Cross-Department Collaboration: Communicate regularly with the DON, ADON, Administrator, and department heads to address ongoing staffing needs and comply with facility policies.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required.Certification: Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.Experience: Previous scheduling experience and Long-Term Care (LTC) background strongly preferred.Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).Core Competencies: Exceptional organization, strong problem-solving abilities, and clear written and verbal communication skills.Join Complete Care as Staffing SchedulerComplete Care is an equal opportunity employer.
