Schedule: Per diem. Travel events are typically 1 to 5 days. Scheduling is based on provider availability and event dates. May include weekends.

Position Overview

• Provide VA disability Compensation and Pension examinations for Veterans focused on Traumatic Brain Injury.
• Evaluation only. No treatment. No prescribing.
• Complete required documentation in the electronic system.
• Typical volume is approximately 5 to 10 Veterans per day.

Required Qualifications

• Board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or completed residency training in the specialty.
• Strong computer skills and comfort with electronic documentation.
• Recent relevant experience in general or internal medicine is helpful for exam style assessments.
