The Experience Xactimate Estimator assesses residential and commercial property losses and develops accurate estimates using Xactimate. Reporting to the General Manager and Restoration Supervisor, this role supports field inspections, office and desk estimating, third-party inspection coordination, and end-to-end insurance claim support. Local travel is required for property inspections, with growth opportunities toward Estimating Team Lead or Claims Management.

 

Responsibilities

• Assess the scope and extent of residential and commercial property damage.
• Conduct local field inspections and coordinate third-party inspections.
• Prepare office-based and desk estimates from inspection findings and provided documentation.
• Build accurate damage estimates and models in Xactimate.
• Document inspection findings, estimate details, and supporting claim information.
• Review and revise estimates as project conditions and claim requirements evolve.
• Coordinate with clients throughout the estimating and claims process.
• Provide end-to-end support for property damage insurance claims.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in property damage estimating.
• Experience with Xactimate.
• Knowledge of property damage assessment and construction estimating.
• Understanding of insurance claims and cost estimation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective client communication skills.
