Research Technician I

Role Overview: The Laboratory Research Technician supports research activities by maintaining laboratory equipment, preparing samples, conducting experiments, and recording data. The position involves working inside a cleanroom environment, adhering to strict protocols for cell manufacturing, environmental monitoring, and aseptic techniques. Key Responsibilities Perform experiments following established protocols Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions with accuracy and safety Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment Record and analyze experimental data, contributing to research findings Assist with environmental monitoring and maintain databases Support quality control and ensure compliance with cGMP standards Order and maintain reagents and supplies, manage inventory Maintain cleanliness and environmental standards in controlled spaces Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate results clearly Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in molecular/cell biology or related field; experience may substitute 1-2 years laboratory experience preferred Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and data analysis tools Attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently and in teams Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills Experience with stem cell technology, tissue culture, or GMP standards is a plus This role is onsite, requiring adherence to strict aseptic and safety protocols, with responsibilities including experimental procedures, equipment maintenance, environmental monitoring, and inventory management.
