Packaging Designer
Our client, a wholesale consumer goods company is seeking a Packaging Designer to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Support the design and development process for packaging, products, and marketing materials.
- Take projects from initial concepts through final artwork while managing timelines and deadlines.
- Create and maintain design specifications and production files.
- Prepare and communicate artwork revisions and final files.
- Review samples and provide clear, detailed feedback.
- Collaborate with overseas vendors and manufacturing partners to address design and production-related questions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on track.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience.
- Experience demonstrated through a strong portfolio will be considered.
- Strong background in packaging and/or branding design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Understanding of print production, packaging specifications, and production-ready artwork.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
